Each job is vetted by a team member to ensure they are legitimate. There is a fee associated with using the site; users can choose to pay a monthly fee of $14.95 or $49.95 per year. The blog provides readers with valuable information such as who is currently hiring, unusual ways to make money, and how to get into specific jobs such as transcription. There are also different categories with companies based on what you want to do.
Another way to earn money is to start a blog. Yes you read that right! Start a blog. Many people make money from their blogs. Just remember it won’t be an easy task, but it will be a lot of fun especially if you write on something you are passionate about. Trust me on this! There are tons of resources on the Internet about how to get started with a blog; this specific post really stuck out to me. It walks you through step by step how to set up your blog. If you are crafty you could start an Etsy store in conjunction with your blog.
As with anything out there you need to be wary of scams. You should never have to pay for a job or supply your credit card or bank account information. Check out this article from the Federal Trade Commission on job scams. Flexjobs also has a great article on common job scams and how to protect yourself. If you are thinking a job is too good to be true, chances are it probably is.
