As most of you know, 4 Paws for Ability is one of River Valley’s charity partnerships. It is an amazing organization that raises and trains service dogs for children with disabilities and veterans. Last year River Valley sponsored three service dogs: Plumette, Yonder and Azure. Here’s a quick update on them. Plumette has since become a fabulous flunky and has a been adopted into a loving home. Yonder is no longer a service dog in training—he has become a breeder. You can follow his progress on his Facebook group, . There are many ways you can get involved with the great organization. You can donate money, volunteer at their facility, or be a puppy raiser just to name a few. I am trying to talk my husband into becoming a puppy raiser, but with three rabbits, a cat, and a 3-year-old, he is very hesitant. Fingers crossed I can change his mind!
