River Valley Credit Union is seeking enthusiastic, outgoing and reliable individuals for a Member Service Reprenstative position. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus one to three years related experience and/or training in a full service financial institution; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience at a financial institution in lending as a loan interviewer and/or member services preferred.
Knowledge and Abilities: Aptitude for selling, cooperative, friendly and positive attitude. Excellent oral and written communicaiton skills with the ability to follow oral and written instructions. Excellent telephone and face-to-face menners and techniques. Ability to read and interpret documents such as credit bureau reports, debt-to-income reports, policy and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Must be able to work at all office locations, requires working Saturdays. Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
