Some of our staff recently visited the 4 Paws for Ability center in Xenia to volunteer their time. The director of volunteer engagement, KaLynn, was on hand to answer any questions our group had. The team watched a short video about 4 Paws and their dogs before heading over to the puppy house. They spent some time with the Apple litter to help socialize them. These particular groups of dogs are called Snapple’s Apples because the mom’s name is Apple. How fun! Each puppy was named after a different type of apple. Russet and Ambrosia were clear favorites of the group. The puppies and the volunteers had a great time playing with one another.
Apart from playing with puppies our staff also helped organize the 4 Paws store, which carries apparel, leashes, blankets, books—just about anything you can think of for pets and pet care. The River Valley team all had a great time and can’t wait to go back and volunteer again.
